“Ulven, räven, haren” is our own version of the medieval French folk song known as “J' ai vu le loup” (I saw the wolf), and -together with our friend, the very talented Guillaume López-Vidal- we sing it in Occitan, Swedish and Spanish. There is much controversy regarding the origin and the meaning of the song, but it is believed that the melody took inspiration from the starting notes of the “Dies Irae” Gregorian chant.
